Sensor Observations

I always believe sensor is one of the greatest invention in this planet. People create it to make life easier. the most popular sensor happened in my NYU dormitory life I think there are light switch, button in room, ID verification scanner by entrance, and sensor lamp I got all the way from China.

Light Switch

The light switch we use it everyday, simply people put either switch up or down can fully take charge of source of lighting. the sensor over light switch need real physical action to make activated, cannot sensor by movement or the other, they are always being notice from user’e direction. However more and more family getting sound and physical movement sensor control the house as system.

Entrance Verification Scanner

when people try to go to every building in NYU, should display student ID, and scan the card in sensor spot. If the information with input is under the system, the door will automatically open, otherwise will make an Alert to notice securities to check in person. As the last demonstration as light switch, this tool have more function can distinguish information in the system or not, also can make a following process which is allow to go, or check with person.

Sensor Lamp

I carried sensor lamp all the way from China, when I go to the restroom at night , the sensor will get my legs movements, then it will light my way up, keep me safe, and also the light will not going to disturb sleep quality. after few seconds, if the sensor still not feel any movements, it will automatically stop spend power, keep it use last longer after one time charge.
